Omahans will go to the polls Tuesday, April 6, and some are already casting early ballots by mail, dropbox and through in-person early voting.

The Daily Record has reached out to all of the candidates running in the City of Omaha election and has compiled responses to a questionnaire.

Friday, March 26, at 6 p.m. is the final deadline to register to vote as well as the deadline to request an early voting ballot to be mailed for the primary. Make registration and early ballot requests in person at 12220 W. Center Road.

“New City of Omaha residents or those who have moved must register to vote in person at the Douglas County Election Commission office this week if they wish to vote,” Election Commission Brian W. Kruse said in a statement.

Early voting runs through Monday, April 5, at 5 p.m. at the Douglas County Election Commission, 12220 W. Center Road. The office will be open Saturday, April 3, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Find early voting drop boxes at1819 Farnam St.; 2808 Q St.; 2868 Ames Ave.; 42nd and Farnam streets; 4805 N. 72nd St.; 7400 Main St. in Ralston; 321 N. 76th St.; 5111 N. 90th St.; 15505 W. Maple Road; 5225 S. 159th Ave.; 178th and Pacific Street; and 2100 Reading Plaza in Elkhorn.

Find more at votedouglascounty.com, including checking the status of early voting ballots. If a ballot is rejected, call 402-444-VOTE (8683).
