Jason and Erin have been the owners/publishers of The Daily Record since 2019. Jason was previously a financial adviser, and holds a bachelor's of arts in journalism/communication and an MBA. Erin holds a bachelor's of science in healthcare management, and has a diverse scientific background.

Tom Becka is a long time Nebraska broadcaster who for over 30 years has been covering Omaha and Midwest issues on both radio and TV. He has been a guest on numerous national cable and news shows, filled in for nationally syndicated talk radio programs and Talkers Magazine has recognized him as one of the Top 100 talk show hosts in the country 10 times. Never afraid to ruffle some feathers, his ‘Becka’s Beat’ commentaries can be found online on Youtube and other digital platforms. 

Austin Petak is a local aspiring novelist and freelance journalist who loves seeking stories and the quiet passions of the soul.

Matt Hebert is an engineer and self-published author. His dopamine-fueled creative pursuits have spanned from chicken keeping, sand sculpture, acting, and public speaking, but writing is nearest and dearest to his heart. He lives in Bellevue with his wife and two daughters.

Tim Trudell is a freelance writer and online content creator. His work has appeared in Flatwater Free Press, Next Avenue, Indian Country Today, Nebraska Life, Nebraska Magazine, Council Bluffs Daily Non-Pareil and Douglas County Post Gazette, among others. He is a citizen of the Santee Dakota Nation.

Carla Chance is a local freelance writer, photographer, desktop publisher, web/social media administrator, graphic designer and event coordinator.

Andy Roberts is a pseudonymous freelance writer with a long history of reporting in the Omaha area.
