“Destiny has a passion to serve and improve the quality of life of others, currently using that passion serving her second term on her Local’s Executive Board as Corresponding-Recording Secretary,” according to her campaign Facebook. “She also serves as the Local’s Political Coordinator, Co-Chair of the Women’s Committee, as well as sits on other committees, to advance and serve the ongoing needs of Local No. 42, before and during the current unprecedented times in both Nebraska and Iowa.”

Stark is an advocate for encouraging people to seek jobs in the skilled trades.

“It's time to break the stigma and promote trades with the same enthusiasm as traditional college to high school students and all workers,” Stark wrote on her campaign Facebook.
