NOTICE
The members of the Omaha Douglas Public Building Commission will convene a special meeting at 8:30 a.m., Thursday, September 11, 2025, in the Legislative Chamber, Room LC-4, of the Omaha-Douglas Civic Center, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska, for the purpose of adopting the following proposed budget and approving the property tax levy request. The budget detail is available in the office of the Administrator. An agenda for said meeting, kept continually current, and is available for public inspection in the office of the Administrator, Civic Center Suite 1205, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska, but the Commission shall have the right to modify the agenda at said meeting when convened. If a signer is needed, please call our office at least 48 hours prior to the meeting.

Waiver of Section 55-928 – Variance to the minimum curbside landscaping width from 8’ to 0’; to the required sidewalk width from 10’ to 7’; to the perimeter landscaping depth from 15’ to 0’; to the overstory tree requirement from 1 per 350 sq. ft. of interior parking lot landscaping to 1 per 400 sq. ft. of interior parking lot landscaping; and to the requirement for all code required trees to be overstory trees to allow for ornamental and understory trees in order to allow for the redevelopment of the subject site with the construction of a new museum, apartment complex, and parking garage; NE of 8th & Douglas Sts.
