The City Council of the City of Valley, Nebraska will hold a Special Meeting: City Council Work Session on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. The subject of the Special Meeting: City Council Work Session is:

 

1. Work session regarding September 8, 2026 Regular City Council Meeting Agenda Items – no action to be taken – for informational purposes only.

 

An agenda kept continually current shall be available for public inspection at the principal office of this governing body.

Notice is hereby given that a meeting of the City Council of the City of Valley, Nebraska will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at Valley City Hall.

Public hearings will be held on the following (submitted concurrently):

 

1. Tim Lowndes (TJL Holdings, LLC):

· Consideration and approval of application for change of zoning from C-1 to C-2 for the purpose of rezoning the property for a Bar & Grill.

 

2. Howard Kucera, Carol A. Wiggins, Billy Hirschman (Hirschman Holdings, LLC), and Beau Gratton (Giving Ghost, LLC):

· Consideration and approval of applications for change of zoning from C-1 to C-2.

 

3. Breakwater LLC (Valley Corp):

· Consideration and approval of application for conditional use permit for the purpose of allowing construction of office buildings, warehousing, fleet maintenance, outdoor material storage, concrete, asphalt, soil recycling, and tree mulch processing.

 

4. Valley Corporation (MLCT Bevington):

· Consideration and approval of application for preliminary plat.

 

An agenda kept continuously current shall be available for public inspection at Valley City Hall (203 N. Spruce Street).

NOTICE OF HEARING OF APPLICATION

CLASS D LIQUOR LICENSE

 

Notice is hereby given that pursuant to Neb. Rev. Stat. § 53-133, a hearing will be held on September 8, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., by the Governing Body of the City of Valley, Douglas County, Nebraska, at Valley City Hall, on the Class D liquor license application of Casey’s Retail Company and the manager application of Christopher Siek at the following location to-wit:

 

26722 Adams Street

Valley, NE

 

at which hearing the Governing Body will receive evidence under oath from any person bearing upon the propriety of issuing such license and manager application.
