Published by josie@omahadail... on Thu, 11/23/2023 - 5:00am

Better job prospects. Higher wages. A greater chance of staying out of jail. Those are the key outcomes that we discovered for incarcerated people who get an education while serving their time.

Fighting For Nebraska’s Children

Published by Nikki Palmer on Fri, 11/17/2023 - 2:00am

As Attorney General, one of my most solemn obligations is to protect Nebraska’s children from those who prey upon them. And as a dad with four school-aged children, I know firsthand the challenges of being a parent in today’s age. Unfortunately, reckless and predatory companies exist that target children and would do them harm. We won’t stand by and let that happen; our office is leading the fight to protect our communities and our children with two important lawsuits.

Whether it’s the infusion of artificial intelligence into our world, or the need to solve the existential problems facing our society, our education system needs to address the real question: What do our learners need to succeed today and in the future?
