PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
DEWEY PARK APARTMENTS
REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT PLAN
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will meet and hold a public hearing on January 12, 2021, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183 for the purpose of hearing testimony for:
The Dewey Park Apartments Redevelopment Project Plan.
Location: 3312 and 3306 Jones Street, and 618 South 33rd Street
The redevelopment project plan proposes to demolish the existing residential structures and construct two new buildings. One building will be a four-story, residential building containing 55 market-rate apartments and the second building will be a one-story building for amenity space. The unit mix is studios, one and two bedrooms. Additional on-street parking on 33rd Street and Jones Street are also proposed.
The Planning Board recommended approval of this Redevelopment Project Plan at the November 4, 2020 public hearing.
The Redevelopment Project Plan authorizes the City’s participation in the redevelopment of this project site through the allocation of TIF in an amount up to $1,400,000.00, plus accrued interest. TIF will be used to offset eligible expenses such as acquisition, site work, site utilities, architectural and engineering costs, and other public improvements as required. The total estimated project costs are $8,559,687.58, but are subject to change as final costs come in.
A copy of said plan is available for public inspection in the City Clerk’s Office.

REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT PLAN
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will meet and hold a public hearing on January 12, 2021, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183 for the purpose of hearing testimony for:
The NAAF Habitat 7 Redevelopment Project Plan.
Location: Generally bound by Sahler Street on the north, Pratt Street on the south, 24th Street on the east and 27th Street on the west
The redevelopment project plan proposes the new construction of twenty (20) one and a half story homes with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. All of the sites are in close proximity to one another within the Neighborhood Action and Fact neighborhood.
The Planning Board recommended approval of this Redevelopment Project Plan at the November 4, 2020 public hearing.
The Redevelopment Project Plan authorizes the City’s participation in the redevelopment of this project site through the allocation of TIF in an amount up to $440,000.00, plus accrued interest. TIF will be used to offset eligible expenses such as acquisition, demolition, site work, and other public improvements as required. The total estimated project costs are $4,315,241.00, but are subject to change as final costs come in.

The Omaha Box Company Building Redevelopment Project Plan.
Location: 2501 North 21st Street East
The redevelopment project plan proposes a comprehensive rehabilitation of the entire 189,000 square feet of the complex to include office, warehouse and some manufacturing/assembly.
The Planning Board recommended approval of this Redevelopment Project Plan at the November 4, 2020 public hearing.
The Redevelopment Project Plan authorizes the City’s participation in the redevelopment of this project site through the allocation of TIF in an amount up to $2,715,380.00, plus accrued interest. TIF will be used to offset eligible expenses such as acquisition, building rehabilitation construction, site work, architectural and engineering costs, and other public improvements as required. The total estimated project costs are $20,333,062.00, but are subject to change as final costs come in.
