Lumen Beer Co. Pushes The Limit, One Beer At A Time

Published by Nikki Palmer on Tue, 12/06/2022 - 5:00am
Lumen is the culmination of a decade of creative ideas, countless basement science experiments, return flight daydreams and a vision to bring their version of craft beer to Omaha. With a focus on the fringe and an eye for innovation, they create a mix of hoppy, sour and high-gravity beers with one thing in common; they are the beers that we like to drink. Head Brewer and Owner, Dan Brouillette, opened Lumen Beer Company this past June and recently brewed his 31st beer. No two brews have been the same. The small taproom at 1433 S 13th Street in Little Bohemia specializes in a lot of beers with a lot of flavor. Style-wise, Lumen focuses on hazy, fruit forward IPAs and Sours.

And that’s during the current season where, with its freshly shorn foliage, the garden more closely resembles the one in “The Secret Garden” before springtime.
