Notice of Meeting

of the Board of Trustees

Village of Boys Town

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an open and public meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Boys Town will be held on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at 1:30 p.m., at Father Flanagan’s Boys’ Home Headquarters Building in the Auditorium, in the Village of Boys Town, NE.  However, based on State of Nebraska Executive Order 20-36,  enacted November 25, 2020, effective December 1, 2020 and extended through April 30, 2021, the following modifications to this meeting are hereby implemented:

1.  No more than 10 total people shall be physically present at any time during this meeting.

2.  There shall be made available the ability to call in to the meeting as follows:

a.  Dial (531) 355-0000

b.  Enter: (531) 355-1248 #

c.  Enter # (no pin)

3.  The meeting shall be governed by all the same rules, regulations, and guidelines as any other meeting.

 The Board of Trustees reserves the right to adjourn into closed session as per Section 84-1410 of the Nebraska Revised Statutes.

 An agenda of the subjects to be considered at the meeting, kept continually current, is and shall be available for public inspection at the office of the Village Attorney located at the Father Flanagan’s Boys’ Home Headquarters Building in the Village of Boys Town, NE.

Individuals requiring physical or sensory accommodation, who desire to attend or participate, please contact the Village Attorney’s office at (531) 355-1071 no later than 4:30 p.m. on the day preceding the meeting.

EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 21-02

CORONAVIRUS - CONTINUED LIMITED

 WAIVER OF PUBLIC MEETINGS

REQUIREMENTS

 

WHEREAS, in order to provide flexibility to assist in meeting the emergency conditions and subsequent impacts brought on from COVID-19, a state of emergency was declared in Nebraska on March 13, 2020;

WHEREAS, the State of Nebraska is committed to providing seamless government operations that are open to the people of Nebraska and to the media throughout the state of emergency;

NOW THEREFORE, I, Pete Ricketts, Governor of the State of Nebraska, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and laws of Nebraska, hereby issue this continued limited waiver of certain requirements of the Nebraska Open Meetings Act.

Pursuant to this declaration, I hereby order the following:

l. Executive Order No. 20-36, which is currently scheduled to end on January 31, 2021, shall remain in effect through April 30, 2021; and

2. The identical statutory waivers and conditions contained within Executive Order No. 20-36 shall continue through April 30, 2021.

IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the Great Seal of the State of Nebraska to be affixed on this 11th day of January, 2021.
