Public notice is hereby given that at a meeting of the Mayor and City Council of the City of Valley, Nebraska, held at 7:00 o’clock P.M. on August 11, 2026, the following ordinance was passed and adopted:  

ORDINANCE NO. 854

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF VALLEY, NEBRASKA, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 580 (AS CODIFIED IN SECTION 34.02 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE) PERTAINING TO CONTRACTS, PURCHASES, AND BIDDING AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS; REPEALING CODE SECTIONS, ORDINANCES, AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITLY CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. 

Said Ordinance No. 854 is hereby published in pamphlet form, copies of which are available for public inspection and distribution at the Office of the City Clerk at City Hall in the City of Valley, Nebraska (203 N. Spruce Street).

The City Council of the City of Valley, Nebraska will hold a Special Meeting: Budget Workshop on Monday, August 24, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. The purpose of the meeting will be to conduct a Budget Workshop for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2026.

An agenda kept continuously current shall be available for public inspection at Valley City Hall (203 N. Spruce Street).
