Stephan and the Honorable Lyle E. Strom.

On October 14th, Erin Duggan Pemberton will begin her term on the NSBA Executive Council representing the first judicial district.

Ms. Duggan Pemberton is a managing partner at Wolfe Snowden law firm in Lincoln.  Her practice areas include mostly insurance defense for medical malpractice and personal injury, and defense of healthcare licensees in state investigations and disciplinary matters. She is active in the NSBA as a member of the Health Law Section and served as the first chair when the section was started in 2015 until 2017.  She is a Lifetime Fellow of the NSBA Foundation, a graduate of the 2013 NSBA Leadership Academy, and Law Day presenter. She has volunteered at the UNL College of Law for a variety of activities such as moot court, client counseling, and others.  She is a member of the Robert Van Pelt Inns of Court and former president.  She is a 2001 cum laude graduate of State University of New York at Buffalo College of Law, where she was the executive editor for the SUNY Buffalo Criminal Law Review, served as the SBA class representative and received the Faculty Choice Award for outstanding leadership.  She worked as an assistant district attorney in New York State before starting at Wolfe Snowden in 2007.  Prior to her legal career, she had a long career in healthcare and holds a master of science degree in nursing.  She is a frequent presenter to both healthcare professionals and legal professionals.   Ms. Pemberton is a member of the board of trustees at Bryan Health Medical Center and at First-Plymouth Church.

On October 14th, Dayna Goff will begin her term on the NSBA Executive Council representing the Young Lawyers Section.
