Have you ever been in a really bad relationship? One where your partner lied, cheated, and gaslighted you? One where you made excuses for them because you didn’t want to admit you were involved with someone you couldn’t trust?

During my talk radio days, I often pontificated about how we need to cut the size of government and get spending under control. I would ask callers to call in and tell me where they would cut. But there was one caveat. They could only cut a program where they received a benefit. “I’m just one person what can I do?”
I’ve heard variations of that comment from a number of people who are frustrated with what they see going on in Washington D.C. They feel helpless to do anything about the chaos, turmoil, and long-term damage this administration is doing. As an individual, they want to do something, but they don’t know what they can do. Nebraska Attorney General Mike Hilgers has joined 17 other AG’s in supporting President Trump on his mission to end Birthright Citizenship. I don’t think ending birthright citizenship goes far enough. We need to take more of a hardline approach.

The Costco shareholders voted to keep their company’s DEI program. This begs the question….
Why does Nebraska Attorney General Mike Hilgers give a damn about what the shareholders of Costco want? If Costco wants to continue its DEI programs why should Nebraska along with 18 other states put pressure on Costco to change its policies?

Many on the right say that government should be run like a business. So, I wonder if Senator Ricketts, a very successful businessman, would hire Pete Hegseth to run T.D.Ameritrade?
