(Aug. 15, 2022) – The Nonprofit Association of the Midlands (NAM) will support nonprofits in turning moments into movements at its 16th annual Nonprofit Summit of the Midlands on Thursday, Nov. 10 at Embassy Suites La Vista Hotel and Conference Center. History Nebraska Foundation Receives $875,000 In ARPA Funding

Lincoln, NE – The History Nebraska Foundation received an $875,000 grant for operating costs from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) of 2021 through the City of Lincoln/Lancaster County.

United We Walk Celebrates Omaha’s Diversity

In this spirit of unity, Tri-Faith announced today that it is hosting a new event, inviting all communities to come together and share in our common humanity. The inaugural United We Walk (UWW) will be held on Sunday, September 11 from 3:00-6:00 pm at the Tri-Faith Commons (13136 Faith Plaza, Omaha, NE 68144).

United Way of the Midlands Awards $310,000 to No More Empty Pots Grant to Fund Community Harvest

No More Empty Pots is pleased to announce it was recently awarded $310,000 in total from United Way of the Midlands (UWM), including $60,000 from the Community Care Fund and $250,000 from American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) fund granted through UWM on behalf of the City of Omaha (federal award number SLFRP0230).
