The Omaha Public Works Department is interested in securing the services of firms for various City of Omaha architect, engineer and related services for projects under $100,000 for a period of approximately 12 months, beginning February 1, 2021 for the following disciplines:
• Architectural • Landscape Architecture
• Civil Engineering/Environmental • Materials Testing
• Civil Engineering/Transportation • Mechanical Engineering
• Construction Management/Inspection • Structural Engineering
• Electrical Engineering • Studies
• G.I.S. Services • Surveying

Bidders may view the contract documents (plans, specifications, addendums, etc.) on the project free of charge from the A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc. website at www.adtechsupply.com. Hard copy prints of all contract documents may be obtained from A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc. by contacting them directly and placing an order. All costs for contract document production will be directly billed by A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc. to the requesting company and not to the issuer of this bidding opportunity. General Contractor shall self-perform with its own workforce a minimum of thirty percent (30%) of the total cost of the Contract. Purchasing of materials does not qualify as self-performing the Work.
As evidence of good faith and guarantee that contract will be entered into should award be made thereon, a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 5% of the bid must accompany bid. The bid bond or certified check shall be made payable to the “City of Omaha”. Failure to do so will be cause for rejection. City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in whole or in part, and the bidders shall have the right to appeal any decision to the City Council.
