The Omaha Public Works Department is interested in securing the services of firms for various City of Omaha architect, engineer and related services for projects under $100,000 for a period of approximately 12 months, beginning February 1, 2021 for the following disciplines:

• Architectural • Landscape Architecture

• Civil Engineering/Environmental • Materials Testing

• Civil Engineering/Transportation • Mechanical Engineering

• Construction Management/Inspection • Structural Engineering

• Electrical Engineering • Studies

• G.I.S. Services • Surveying

Sealed bids are invited and will be received on or before 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 27, 2021, as per specifications on file in the office of the Douglas County Purchasing Agent. These documents may also be found at www.douglascountypurchasing.org.

Sealed bids should be addressed to Elizabeth Butler, City Clerk, 1819 Farnam Street, LC 1, Omaha Douglas Civic Center, Omaha, NE 68183 and marked BID ON:

As evidence of good faith and guarantee that a contract will be entered into should an award be made thereon, a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid must accompany the bid. Failure to do so will be cause for rejection.

Sealed bids for the construction of the CITY OF OMAHA - SWIMMING POOL SUN SHADES, are invited and will be received on or before 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 27, 2021, as per the project’s specifications.

Sealed bids to be addressed to Elizabeth Butler, City Clerk, LC-1, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha/Douglas Civic Center, Omaha, Nebraska 68183, marked “BID ON: City of Omaha - SWIMMING POOL SUN SHADES”, must be in her office on or before 11:00 A.M. on the bid opening date at which time the bids will be opened and read by the City Clerk before the Bid Opening Committee and the public in LC-4, Omaha/Douglas Civic Center.

Plans and Specifications may be examined and obtained at the offices of A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc., 4320 South 89th Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68127 (402-592-4950) on or after Wednesday, JANUARY 6, 2021. Bidders may view the contract documents (plans, specifications, addendums, etc.) on the project free of charge from the A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc. website at www.adtechsupply.com. Hard copy prints of all contract documents may be obtained from A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc. by contacting them directly and placing an order. All costs for contract document production will be directly billed by A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc. to the requesting company and not to the issuer of this bidding opportunity. Potential bidders will receive special pricing for the printing of hard copies of the contract documents. Contact A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc. for the cost associated with your request.

General Contractor shall self-perform with its own workforce a minimum of thirty percent (30%) of the total cost of the Contract. Purchasing of materials does not qualify as self-performing the Work.

As evidence of good faith and guarantee that contract will be entered into should award be made thereon, a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 5% of the bid must accompany bid. The bid bond or certified check shall be made payable to the “City of Omaha”. Failure to do so will be cause for rejection. City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in whole or in part, and the bidders shall have the right to appeal any decision to the City Council.
