Young Professionals Blood Drive and 90s Game Night Networking Event

Wednesday, August 17, 2022 (12:00 PM - 7:00 PM) (CDT)

Description

Interested in wanting to network and mingle with other young professionals in the Omaha metro? Come stop by our event on August 17th and support a great cause!

Just as most cars need to be refueled constantly, so does the nation’s blood supply. The American Red Cross has faced a concerning drop in blood and platelet donations this summer. Donors are needed to make an appointment to give in August to help prevent a blood shortage. The decline in donations has caused the Red Cross blood supply to shrink nearly 20% in recent weeks. The availability of blood products will continue to decline if donations do not increase.

Register and schedule your appointment today at the first ever Young Professional blood drive and come hang with other young professionals in our community! You could score gas for a year (a $6K value) when you help pump up the blood supply! You will be entered into the drawing for free gas for a year when you schedule your Blood Donation appointment on the Red Cross’ website. You will receive a link in your Event Registration Confirmation email to the American Red Cross' website that will allow you to select an appointment time for this blood drive. Please make sure to complete this process and sign up for a time that works with your schedule. Going through the American Red Cross is the only way to reserve your blood donation appointment.

Saving lives is extraordinary & so are you. Let us thank you with a $10 e-gift card to a merchant you choose when you come to give blood on August 17th at the Greater Omaha Chamber Young Professionals, Emerging Leaders of the American Red Cross, Young Nonprofit Professional Network of Greater Omaha and Metro Young Latino Professionals Association sponsored blood drive! PLUS, get a chance at gas for a year ($6K value)!

If you are unable to give blood, we would still love to see you at our networking event. This networking event is free. When registering below, please select the Networking only option. This will allow us to accurately track how many attendees will be attending our event.

Thank you for supporting this great cause! We look forward to seeing you at this event!
