NEBRASKA PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION
The following proposed Rule and Regulation may be inspected at the offices of the Nebraska Public Service Commission during regular office hours. Comments must be filed with the Commission in the manner and within the time prescribed in Section 14 of the Rules of Commission Procedure:
RULE AND REGULATION #209: In the Matter of the Nebraska Public Service Commission, on its own motion, seeking to amend Title 291, Chapter 4, Railroad Rules and Regulations in its entirety.
The comment period to submit written comments in response to these proposed amendments was open from November 8, 2022 to December 9, 2022. No additional comments will be accepted at this time.
A public hearing to receive testimony on the proposed Rules and Regulations has been scheduled for Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. Central Time. Remote access to the hearing will be available via WebEx at the following link: https://psc.nebraska.gov/stream. Individuals may also attend the meeting by telephone: dial 415-655-0003, then enter 926 343 190 when prompted for an access code.
The Commission believes there will be no fiscal impact as a result of these rules.
Copies of the proposed rules are available on the Commission website at https://psc.nebraska.gov/administration/proposed-rules-regulations. Anyone wishing to receive written notices regarding this docket shall provide contact information to the Commission and ask to be added to the service list.
If auxiliary aids or reasonable accommodations are needed for attendance at a Commission hearing, please call the Commission at 402-471-3101. B-2065.04 In the Matter of the Application of Eastside Transportation, LLC, Lincoln, to extend its authority as a common carrier in Nebraska intrastate commerce in the transportation of passengers in Open Class service in Lancaster, Gage, Seward, Saunders, Cass, Douglas, Sarpy, Adams, Platte, York, Hall, Kearney, and Madison counties, on the one hand, and on the other hand, points in Nebraska over irregular routes.
