STATE OF NEBRASKA PUBLIC NOTICES 4/14/20

NEBRASKA PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION

NOTICE

     The Nebraska Public Service Commission will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. in the Commission Hearing Room, 300 The Atrium, 1200 N Street, Lincoln, Nebraska.  The agendas will be available for public inspection no later than 10:00 a.m. on the day before the meeting.

     Access to the meeting for members of the public and the media will be available via WebEx at the following link: http://tiny.cc/PSCWebex (case sensitive). Members of the public or the media may also attend the meeting by telephone. Dial 415-655-0003, then enter 926 434 190 when prompted for an access code.

     The agendas will be available for public inspection no later than 10:00 a.m. on the day before the meeting, on the Commission’s Calendar webpage at http://tiny.cc/PSCCal.

     If auxiliary aids or reasonable accommodations are needed for attendance at a Commission meeting, please call the Commission at 402-471-3101.  For people with hearing/speech impairments, please call the Nebraska Relay System at 800-833-7352 (TDD) or 800-833-0920 (Voice).  Advance notice of at least seven days is needed when requesting an interpreter. 

     The following proposed docket may be inspected at the offices of the Nebraska Public Service Commission during regular business hours. 

     PI-230: In the Matter of the Nebraska Public Service Commission, on its own motion, to investigate insurance requirements for motor carriers providing intrastate trasnportation services within the state of Nebraska. Hearing will be held Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. This hearing will be held electronically in accordance with the Governor’s Executive Order No. 20-03. As the meeting will be held electronically, and no quorum of the public body will be physically present together, there will be not public in-person attendance. Remote access to the meeting will be available via Webex or by telephone. Information for connecting may be accessed at the following link: http://tiny.cc/PSCWebex (case sensitive). M-14153: In the Matter of the Application of Chet’s Transfer, Inc., Lincoln seeking approval of a change in ownership by sale and transfer of stock from Meryln D. and Sherrill J. Bice, Lincoln, to Kenneth R. Smetter, Lincoln, in Certificate No. M-14153.

The following application(s) may be inspected at the office of the Nebraska Public Service Commission during regular office hours.  Interventions must be filed with the Commission in the manner and within the time prescribed in Section 14 of the Rules of Commission Procedure, Title 291, NAC Chapter 1.
