NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Sarpy County Board of Commissioners that pursuant to Neb. Rev. Stat. §39-1722 et seq. (Reissue 1998) a public hearing will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at 3:00 P.M., or as soon thereafter as it may be heard, in the Sarpy County Courthouse Board Room, 1210 Golden Gate Drive, Papillion, Nebraska 68046, to receive public comment regarding the vacation of a portion of 180th street along with parts of Giles road lying within parts of Windsor East, Windsor West, Windsor West Replat 1, Giles Pointe and Giles Pointe Replat 1, as platted and recorded in Sarpy County, Nebraska.

APPLICATION FOR TAX EXEMPTIONS

ON REAL AND PERSONAL PROPERTY BY QUALIFYING ORGANIZATIONS

Pursuant to Neb. Rev. St. §77-202.01, notice is hereby given that Three exemption applications for tax exemption on real and personal property by qualifying organizations (Form 451) have been filed with the Sarpy County Assessor. The applications of Bellevue University / Society of ST Vincent De Paul of Omaha NE seeking tax exemption, description of the property, and the recommendation of the County Assessor are available in the office of the Sarpy County Assessor, 1102 E. 1st St, Papillion, NE.

These applications have been scheduled for hearing before the Sarpy County Board of Equalization,1210 Golden Gate Dr. Papillion NE on April 9, 2024 at 3:00 P.M., and the hearings will be open to the public.

PUBLIC NOTICE OF MEETING

Notice is hereby given that the Sarpy County Veterans’ Service Committee will conduct their regular meeting on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at 2 pm, at the Sarpy County Courthouse Administration Building, Conference Room A/B, 1210 Golden Gate Drive, Papillion NE 68046. (The agenda, which shall be kept continually current, shall be available for public inspection in the office of the County Veterans Service Office of Sarpy County, Nebraska during normal business hours.)
