Iowa small business owners whose companies have been dissolved can receive reinstatement in a few days after the launch of a new digital filing system by   Iowa Workforce Development and the Iowa Secretary of State’s Office earlier this month.

“Iowa small businesses always look for ways to be innovative and dynamic in how they serve their customers, and state government should be no different,” Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds said in a news release. “This partnership makes the reinstatement process more accessible, efficient, and significantly reduces wait times.”

The agencies process about 2,500 reinstatements per year.
