ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
1. Sealed bids addressed to the Board of Education of the Omaha Public Schools, Douglas County, Nebraska, for the Security Camera Installations at Buildings in the Omaha Public Schools, Bid Number P051-20, for the Omaha Public Schools, hereinafter called “District” in accordance with plans, specifications and Contract Documents adopted by the District, will be received in the office of District Operational Services, Omaha Public Schools, 3215 Cuming Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68131-2024 until 2:00 PM, CDT, Wednesday, August 5th, 2020. At that time, the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud and tabulation will be made to present to the Board of Education at the next regular meeting for consideration in awarding the Contract. Any bid received after the closing time will be returned unopened. The time clock maintained by OPS District Operational Services shall be the official clock utilized to determine the time for close of bidding.
2. Contractor will bid on separate bid packets. Installation includes wire run hardware install and positioning of cameras. Hardware to be provided to contractor by OPS. Wire and needed patch panels to be provided by contractor.
3. Bids should be broken down per bid packet. Bid packets will be identified in the solicitation.
4. Each packet offering will be considered an individual bid.
5. OPS is also seeking bids for installation from qualified surveillance and electrical contractors to provide Aqueti surveillance cameras, infrastructure and Qview & Qadmin software generally consisting of approximately two cameras, server, software, cabling, electrical, pathways and raceways per site. Axis camera hardware and install will also be required.
6. Virtual Q&A will be hosted Via Microsoft Teams 7/17/2020 @ 10AM. All solicitors must inform via email on intent to attend by 7/16/20 @ 1PM. Please email both sean.brozak@ops.org & john.lang@ops.org. This meeting will be required to attend the Physical review.
7. Physical review for exterior grounds and facility parking. Please email both sean.brozak@ops.org & john.lang@ops.org if you intend to attend. Schools are in the order of attendance. 30 minute break at noon for lunch or at reasonable stopping point. Physical review must be done by 3PM

5. Packet D - Contractor will be providing 100 Axis Body Cameras and accessories
6. Each packet offering will be considered an individual bid. If solicitor offers discount on total package it must be submitted at time of bid.
