ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

1.  Sealed bids addressed to the Board of Education of the Omaha Public Schools, Douglas County, Nebraska, for the CONESTOGA ELEMENTARY CEILING REPLACEMENT, Bid Number P 030-21, for the Omaha Public Schools, hereinafter called the “District” in accordance with plans, specifications and Contract Documents adopted by the District, prepared by Schemmer Architects are to be received by 2:00 PM, CT, Friday, May 28, 2021. At that time, the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud, and tabulation will be made to present to the Board of Education at the next regular meeting for consideration in awarding the Contract.  Any bid received after the closing time will not be considered. The time clock maintained by OPS District Operational Services shall be the official clock utilized to determine the time for close of bidding.  There will be a mandatory Pre-Bid Conference / Project Walk Through on Monday, May 10, 2021 at 7:30 AM at Conestoga Elementary. 

2.  Plans and specifications may be examined and are available for purchase at A&D Technical Supply, Omaha NE 68127, 402-592-4950, on or after  April 30, 2021.  Plans and specifications may also be examined at the Office of District Operational Services, Division of Buildings & grounds 4041 North 72nd Street, Omaha, NE 68134 and are also on file at the following locations:

The Omaha Public Schools Board of Education and Educational Service Unit 19 will hold their next regularly scheduled Board Meeting on Monday, May 3, 2021 at 6:30 PM Central.  The meeting will be held at the Teacher Administrative Center (TAC), 3215 Cuming Street, Omaha, NE 68131-2000.  A copy of the current agenda is available for public inspection in the office of the Board Secretary at TAC during normal business hours.  The agenda may also be viewed by clicking on the Current Meeting link under the Board of Education tab at district.ops.org.
