Waiver of Section 55-716 – Variance to the minimum bufferyard requirement between the GI & AG Districts from 60’ to 45’ to allow for the construction of an office/warehouse building; 11102 Melissa St.

Waiver of Section 55-126 – Variance to the required front yard setback from 50’ to 39.5’ to allow for the construction of a garage addition; 3016 S. 217th Cir.

CASES:

Waiver of Section 55-186 – Variance to the required front yard setback from 35’ to 19’; to the street side yard setback from 15’ to 10’; and to the interior side yard setback from 5’ to 1’ to allow for the construction of a home addition; 6503 S. 17th St.

Waiver of Section 55-126 – Variance to the required interior side yard setback from 25’ to 15’ to allow for the construction of a pool house/garage addition; 1457 N. 143rd Ave. Cir.

Waiver of Section 55-836 – Variance to the maximum sign budget from 210 sq. ft. to 285 sq. ft. to allow for the installation of a new wall sign on an existing multi-tenant commercial building; 13810 P St.

Waiver of Section 55-734 – Variance to the off-street parking requirements from 11 stalls to 9 stalls to allow an existing office building to be converted into a multi-family residence; 6220 N. 30th St.

Waiver of Section 55-166 – Variance to the required rear yard setback from 25’ to 21’ to allow for the construction of a deck addition; 443 N. 38th St.

Waiver of Section 55-166 – Variance to the required interior side yard setback from 7’ to 4’ and to the maximum impervious coverage from 45% to 55% to allow for the construction of a home addition; 1338 S. 35th Ave.

Waiver of Section 55-766(b)(3) – Variance to the separation requirement between a scrap or salvage use and the nearest property line of an agricultural, residential, or office zoning district from 300’ to 145’ to allow for a proposed concrete crushing operation; NE of 28th Ave. & Deer Park Blvd. 

Waiver of Section 55-126 – Variance to the required rear yard setback from 35’ to 7.6’ to allow for the construction of a home and garage addition; 21912 Hillandale Cir.

Waiver of Section 55-830 – Variance to allow for the installation of a revised sign plan for a Personal Improvement Services and Restaurant (Limited) use for signage not otherwise permitted; 7023 Cass St.

Waiver of Section 55-246 – Variance to the required front yard setback from 25’ to 3’ and to the interior side yard setback from 5’ to 4’ to allow for the replacement of an existing covered porch; 523 William St.

RECONSIDERATION:

Waiver of Section 55-696 – Variance to the airport zoning regulations (height limits) to allow for existing trees on a property to the adjacent east of an airport to remain; 7030 Bennington Rd.

The City of Omaha Public Art Commission will have a regular monthly meeting at 4:00 p.m. on:  

 

Wednesday, March 11th, 2026 

at the Dewey Recreation Center, 

550 Turner Boulevard, 

Omaha, NE  68105.

 

Proposed agenda kept continually current shall be available for public inspection in the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center at the Office of the Parks, Recreation, and Public Property Department or on the Mayors website, https://mayors-office.cityofomaha.org/. 

The Board shall have the right to modify the agenda at said public meeting when convened.
