METROPOLITAN TRANSIT AUTHORITY

PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE

The Transit Advisory Committee (TAC) of the Regional Metropolitan Transit Authority of Omaha will hold a regularly scheduled TAC meeting on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at 6:45 p.m., or upon conclusion of the RMTA Board of Directors Budget Hearing Meeting, whichever is later, at the offices of the Transit Authority: 2222 Cuming Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68102 and online. Members of the Transit Advisory Committee may be in quorum while attending the RMTA Board of Directors Budget Hearing Meeting but will not take official action.

The proposed agenda items are: Call to Order – Budget Hearing Follow-Up Questions –Approval of the Minutes of the Previous Meeting – General Public Comment Period –Committee Report on Public Feedback – Committee Report on RMTA Board of Directors – Metro Transit Staff Report – Proposed December 2026 Service Changes – Approval of TAC Representative and Topics for the September 2026 TAC Report to the RMTA Board of Directors – Date, Time, and Place of Next TAC Meeting – Adjournment.

The proposed agenda, being kept continually current, shall be available for public inspection in the Transit Authority Administrative building or on the www.ometro.com/tac website. The Transit Advisory Committee meeting will be held simultaneously in person and online using Zoom. The public is invited to attend. In consideration of everyone’s time and in respect of those presenting, any online connection that is deemed to be causing a disruption may be removed from the meeting.
