After being cancelled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Omaha Bar Association’s Fall Kickoff returned this year at a new location, but with the same camaraderie.

Sponsored by FNBO for about five decades, the Fall Kickoff was held last week at the Field Club of Omaha. The OBA member-favorite event has long been a celebration to mark the beginning of the new legal year.

“The Omaha Bar Association is proud and honored to partner with First National Bank of Omaha for the 49th year to kick off the next year of the bar association,” OBA President Judge Stephanie Hansen said. “And we’re thankful for that partnership and the ability to get together and enjoy a drink, some appetizers and good discussions with our friends at FNBO.”

FNBO Senior Managing Director of Wealth Management Steve Lindsay also noted the longstanding relationship with the bar association.

“FNBO is proud to be a sponsor with the OBA of this event for the last 49 years,” he said. “It’s a great Omaha tradition that’s really become an institution and we’re proud to be a partner.”
