Capturing the fast pace vibe of entrepreneurs, co-founders of the first Hustle Conference, CurtDrew and Eric Gautschi, have held fast to this dream for more than a decade. Today, October 9,their first supporter Anthony Hendrickson PhD, dean of Creighton University’s Heider College of Business, is helping these hard driving and successful entrepreneurs premiere their vision.Hendrickson was the first person to jump on the bandwagon of Hustle.

The genesis began with the Big Omaha conference which the founders of this energetic conference loved. Fostered by their groundbreaking marketing work with the Maha festival, lights turn on today and their dream unfolds. “As founders, we have been immersed in this world. Eric and I made all sorts of mental notes about what was great, what we would change or add (to events)” said Drew. Emerging from their work and a host of sponsors, is the 2024 Hustle Conference, capturing in tone the essence of the current economic climate and entrepreneurial vision of many entrepreneurs. The Hustle Conference was designed to bring people together and help support the economy and the community. Organizers and visionaries who captured the momentum created this event to bring together entrepreneurs at all stages of their journey, startup, tech founders, andindustry leaders from Omaha, Lincoln, and the Midwest region.Gautschi and Drew love the entrepreneurial mindset and share common traits of founders, including being driven men who do not sit still. Today’s event at Creighton University is planned to move people around, engage attendees in conversation, host question and answer sessions, and connect founders, investors, business or nonprofit leaders with like-minded dreamers and doers. They both agree that today’s conference is an active experience, filled with fireside chat experiences and local, national, and international speakers and breakout leaders.

The co-founders in unison state that, “We are always looking to express stories in the simplest way possible and tell a story in as few words as possible.” What they love about the name Hustle is it tells the entrepreneur’s story. Not only dreaming big but doing something about it and sticking with it. “Hustle means digging deep within yourself and finding what it takes to keep going, adapt, and pivot, when needed”, a shared statement spoken between Drew and Gautschi. Speed networking, lunch with peers assigned as a cohort - matched up with compatible interests - and orchestrated networking sessions - typify the rhythm of the conference. As I look forward to attending and absorbing the vibe of Hustle, you may feel a sense of FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out). Visit the conference website and dream about attending the next iteration: www.hustleconference.com.
