Hightower Reff Law Launches Period Product Drive For Women's History Month

Omaha, NE - Hightower Reff Law, a law firm dedicated to serving the Omaha community, is proud to announce its period product drive in honor of Women's History Month. The drive will begin on March 1st and will continue until March 31st.

According to a 2021 survey conducted by the period product company Thinx, one in four women in the United States has struggled to afford period products. When people don't have access to period supplies, they either don't show up for work or school (perpetuating the cycle of poverty), or they are forced to use unsafe and undignified alternatives. In light of this, Hightower Reff Law is collecting tampons, pads, liners and personal wipes, to donate to Access Period, a non-profit organization that provides free menstrual products to anyone that needs them in Nebraska.

"We believe that access to period products is a basic human need, not a luxury." said Partner Attorney Susan Reff, co-founder of Hightower Reff Law. "Our goal with this drive is to support the important work Access Period is doing for the women in our community."

Hightower Reff Law is encouraging members of the Omaha community to donate period products at their office located at 10110 Nicholas St, Suite 102. The products collected will be donated to Access Period and thoughtfully distributed for free to those in need.
