Framing the Future

A fundraiser for Owlish with an auction featuring works from local artists, hors d'oeuvres, drinks, and a lounge experience.

About this event

Owlish is the only organization in the Midwest dedicated to advocating for LGBTQ+ older adults.

Framing the Future means equity. It means our LGBTQ+ older folks stop becoming invisible. It means that golden years become accessible to everyone. Your attendance, donation, bid, partnership...it means the world to us. And to our community.

We look forward to thanking you in person at our event!

OUR WORK in 2022:

LGBTQ+ adults over 50 are underrepresented and underserved. As this group grows, senior-serving organizations are less and less prepared. In 2022, Owlish is preparing curriculum to take into these organizations so that we can illustrate the urgent need to empathetic, informed, and inclusive services to our community. We will educate caregivers and administrators on the needs and challenges unique to older LGBTQ+ folks and empower them to make their businesses and facilities more inclusive and more caring.

Visit us at owlish.org for more information.
