REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS
For
Design Engineering Services
The City of Omaha Public Works Department is issuing a Request for Qualifications for the Midtown Medical Center Bikeway Connection project. The Scope of Services includes Design Services and Environmental Services as required by FHWA. The project is being funded using federal funds, state funds and local funds and is a partnership among NDOT, MAPA, City of Omaha and the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
Interested firms may request a detailed scope of work by emailing their requests to ae.selection@cityofomaha.org or by writing to the Public Works Department, Attention: Sylvia, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, NE 68183 prior to December 11, 2024.

Sealed bids are invited and will be received on or before the closing date/time. Bidding documents may be found on the new Douglas County Ionwave electronic bidding website: douglascountypurchasing.ionwave.net
Electronic bid submission: The City of Omaha requires all bidders to submit their bids electronically. Each respondent is responsible for taking the necessary steps to ensure their submission is received and complete by the listed closing date and time. The City/County is not responsible for technical difficulties and will not allow late submissions due to the same.
Demolition of 4 Structures
Bids will be opened and read by the City Clerk on the closing date/time before the Bid Opening Committee and the public in LC 4, Omaha Douglas Civic Center.
As evidence of good faith and guarantee that a contract will be entered into should an award be made thereon, a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid must accompany the bid. Failure to do so will be cause for rejection.
The City of Omaha reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
