The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Omaha Public Library will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at 5:00 P.M. at the W. Dale Clark Main Library, 215 South 15th Street, Meeting Rooms 2 & 3 (Lower Level). Proposed agenda kept continually current is available in the Administrative Office at the W. Dale Clark Library and on the Library’s website at www.omahalibrary.org.  The Board reserves the right to modify the agenda to include items of an emergency nature at said public meeting when convened.  Requests for sign language interpreters or other alternative formats will require a minimum of 48 hours advance notice.  Please contact the Administrative Office at (402) 444-4834 if arrangements need to be made.

The South Omaha Historical Grant Committee will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. at the SE Omaha Police Precinct, 2475 Deer Park Blvd, Omaha, NE.  The public hearing will be held to receive public comment on grant proposals that showcase important historical aspects of defined areas within South Omaha or assist with the reduction of street and gang violence in defined areas of South Omaha.  Please be advised that face coverings are required while inside the police precinct building.

The City Council of the City of Omaha will have a Pre-Council Meeting at 10:30 A.M. in the Conference Room, LC-1, Omaha/Douglas Civic Center, 1819 Farnam Street, for the purpose of discussing the agenda items and briefing and discussion of public business; and a regular Council Meeting at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, September 15, 2020, in the Legislative Chambers of the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center in Omaha, Nebraska.  Proposed agenda kept continually current shall be available for public inspection in the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center at the Office of the City Clerk, but the Council shall have the right to modify the agenda to include items of an emergency nature only at such public meeting when convened.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICES

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will hold public hearings on September 15, 2020, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183, for the purpose of hearing testimony for:

An ordinance to approve the acceptance of and authorize disbursement from the FY2020/2021 Douglas County Board of Commissioners’ Visitor Improvement Fund Grant in the amount of $68,200.00; to further develop and improve the OMAR the Troll attraction along the riverfront at the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge as detailed in the grant application; to authorize the payments specified therein.
