PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
N 38TH AVENUE CITY HOME PROJECT
REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT PLAN
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will meet and hold a public hearing on August 6, 2024, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183 for the purpose of hearing testimony for:
N 38th Avenue City Home Project Redevelopment Project Plan.

The redevelopment project plan proposes the new construction of four single family homes.
The Planning Board recommended approval of this Redevelopment Project Plan at the June 5, 2024 public hearing.
The Redevelopment Project Plan authorizes the City’s participation in the redevelopment of this project site through the allocation of Tax Increment Financing (TIF) in an amount up to $198,382.00, which includes capitalized interest. TIF loan proceeds will be used to offset eligible expenses such as acquisition, site preparation, architectural and engineering costs, various studies and other public improvements as required. The total estimated project costs are $1,120,284.00, but are subject to change as final costs come in.
A copy of said plan is available for public inspection in the City Clerk’s Office.
