PUBLIC HEARING NOTICES
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will hold public hearings on May 9, 2023, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183, for the purpose of hearing testimony for:
An ordinance to approve an Interlocal Agreement between the City of Omaha and the City of Bellevue, Nebraska for the receipt and disposition of yard waste, to commence April 1, 2023 and run through December 1, 2023 and is extendable for one (1) additional year upon written consent by both the City of Omaha and the City of Bellevue, involving the reimbursement of money involving appropriations of more than one year in accordance with Section 5.17 of the Home Rule Charter of 1956, as amended.

NOTICE TO PUBLIC
The City Council of the City of Omaha will have a Pre-Council Meeting at 10:30 A.M. in the Jesse Lowe Conference Room, Omaha/Douglas Civic Center, 1819 Farnam Street, for the purpose of discussing the agenda items and briefing and discussion of public business; and a regular Council Meeting at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, in the Legislative Chambers of the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center in Omaha, Nebraska. This meeting will have video conference capability. Proposed agenda kept continually current shall be available for public inspection in the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center at the Office of the City Clerk, but the Council shall have the right to modify the agenda to include items of an emergency nature only at such public meeting when convened. The video conference details and an agenda for the meeting is posted on the City of Omaha website at www.cityofomaha.org.

AIR QUALITY CONTROL
Notice is given to the public according to Chapter 41 of the Omaha Municipal Code of the application of Grover Asphalt Plant to obtain a minor air emission construction permit for a hot mix asphaltic concrete plant at 6506 Grover Street, Omaha. The potential emissions, in tons, for this project will be: TSP 17.5, PM10 11.0, PM2.5 10.9 SOx 20.8, NOx 33.9, VOC 20.7, CO 47.3, Lead 0.1, Ammonia 0.1, Formaldehyde 1.1, Toluene 1.0, POM 0.1, Total HAPs 3.8 and CO2e 13,554.
No significant impact on air quality is expected from the operation of this facility. Douglas County is in attainment with air quality standards for the listed pollutants. Approval is recommended with the condition that any pollution control equipment that may be necessary for compliance with the City of Omaha or Nebraska Air Pollution Control Rules and Regulations will be installed within 180 days after notification by the City of noncompliance.
All information submitted by the applicant and the proposed approval by Air Quality Control are available for inspection by the public at the office of Omaha Air Quality Control from May 3, 2023 to June 3, 2023. Comments received during that period will be considered. During that period the applicant, or any interested person or group of persons, may request or petition the Control Officer for a public hearing, and state the nature of the issues to be raised and all arguments and factual grounds supporting their position. The Control Officer may hold a public hearing if the comments, requests, or petitions raise legal, policy or discretionary questions and significant public interest exists with respect to the application.
