Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Omaha met on May 14, 2024 and passed and approved the following ordinances:

ORDINANCE NO. 43842

AN ORDINANCE to approve a Major Amendment to a PUD-Planned Unit Development Overlay District located at 19050 Jackson Court, to approve the Development Plan, and to provide for an effective date.

Summary: In accordance with Sections 55-595 through 55-600 of the Omaha Municipal Code, a Major Amendment to the PUD-Planned Unit Development Overlay District and the Development Plan, attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved, for the following described land in Douglas County, Nebraska: Lot 4, Grove Ridge, a subdivision as surveyed, platted and recorded in Douglas County, Nebraska.

A SPECIAL ORDINANCE levying a special tax and assessment on all lots and pieces of real estate within Road Maintenance District (RMD) 2022-01, in the City of Omaha, to cover the cost of constructing and improving Quail Ridge Circle, from Skyline Drive to its terminus, by asphalt overlay, and to provide an effective date hereof.

AN ORDINANCE to accept the invoice from FirstTwo, Inc., for the purchase of an agency license for an investigative intelligence program for the Omaha Police Department, with appropriations over a period of three years for a total cost of $108,000.00; the invoice includes unlimited users, searches and devices, support and training; with payment to be made from the Omaha Police Department General Fund 11111, Organization 113214 Mobile IT Unit, Account 42266 Information Technology and Contracted Services in the amount of $108,000.00; and to provide the effective date hereof.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will hold public hearings on June 4, 2024, at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183. The purpose of these hearings is to consider approval of:

Class “I” Liquor License for Cumbia, LLC, dba “Cumbia”, located at 329 South 16th Street, Suite 1.

Class “I” Liquor License for Hollywood SOB, LLC, dba “Hollywood Candy”, located at 1209 Jackson Street.

Class “D” Liquor License for Sidco Petroleum, LLC, dba “Midtown Gas & Grocery”, located at 2302 South 13th Street.

Class “D” Liquor License for Siddiqui Brothers, LLC, dba “Midtown Gas & Grocery”, located at 1349 Park Avenue.

Anyone interested in these matters or desiring to give evidence in support of or in protest against the issuance of such license should be in attendance at this meeting.
