The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Omaha Public Library will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2020 at 5:00 P.M. via Zoom Meeting. Proposed agenda kept continually current is available in the Administrative Office at the W. Dale Clark Library and on the Library’s website at www.omahalibrary.org. The Board reserves the right to modify the agenda to include items of an emergency nature at said public meeting when convened. To request video conference details, please reach out to Jenna L. Garcia, Executive Secretary, at jlgarcia@omahalibrary.org. Requests for sign language interpreters or other alternative formats will require a minimum of 48 hours ad-vance notice. NOTICE TO PUBLIC
The City Council of the City of Omaha will have a Council Meeting at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 19, 2020, in the Legislative Chambers of the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center in Omaha, Nebraska. This meeting will have video conference capability. Proposed agenda kept continually current shall be available for public inspection in the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center at the Office of the City Clerk, but the Council shall have the right to modify the agenda to include items of an emergency nature only at such public meeting when convened. Access to the Civic Center will be limited so any public attendees will need to be escorted to the meeting by building security. The video conference details and an agenda for the meeting is posted on the City of Omaha website at www.cityofomaha.org.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICES
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will hold public hearings on May 19, 2020, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183, for the purpose of hearing testimony for:
An ordinance to accept the bid from All Seasons Turf & Tree, LLC in the amount of $168,406.56 for grounds maintenance of the right-of-ways identified as Area 1, from 90th Street east to the Missouri River and from Cuming Street north to the City Limits and Area 3, from 90th Street west to 168th Street and from Dodge Street north to the City Limits for a two year period ending November 30, 2021; providing for the payments from appropriations of more than one year in accordance with Section 5.17 of the Home Rule Charter of 1956 as amended; to authorize the Purchasing Agent to issue a purchase order.
An ordinance to accept the bid from MaConn Enterprises, LLC in the amount of $27,610.00 per year, for mowing of the Missouri River Flood Levee, for a term of June 1, 2020 to December 1, 2021 with an option by the City of Omaha to extend for two (2) additional one (1) year periods; providing for the payments from appropriations of more than one year in accordance with Section 5.17 of the Home Rule Charter of 1956 as amended; to authorize the Purchasing Agent to is-sue a purchase order.
An ordinance establishing the North 24th Street Business Improvement District (BID No. 6879) under the authority of the Business Improvement District Act, Neb.Rev.Stat. § 19-4105, et seq. for the purpose of providing specified activities, work and improvements in the North 24th Street area (Meredith Avenue to the north, 25th Avenue to the west, Cuming Street to the south, and 23rd Street to 20th Street to the east) of Omaha, Nebraska; to create the North 24th Street Business Improvement District; to define the boundaries of such District; to identify that the properties benefit-ed by the streetscape improvements will be subject to special assessments in accordance with the North 24th Street Business Improvement District Plan; to provide for special assessment in an approximate amount of up to $21,500.00 in year one for general maintenance and infrastructure improvement, lighting, beautification, promotion, parking and security; to be imposed upon such District based upon the benefits conferred; to provide for the assessment of property specially benefited within the District; to provide a method of assessment to be assessed upon properties specially benefited by the District.
