NOTICE TO PUBLIC
The City Council of the City of Omaha will have a Pre-Council Meeting at 10:30 A.M. in Conference Room 702, Omaha/Douglas Civic Center, 1819 Farnam Street, for the purpose of discussing the agenda items and briefing and discussion of public business; and a regular Council Meeting at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, in the Legislative Chambers of the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center in Omaha, Nebraska. This meeting will have video conference capability. Proposed agenda kept continually current shall be available for public inspection in the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center at the Office of the City Clerk, but the Council shall have the right to modify the agenda to include items of an emergency nature only at such public meeting when convened. The video conference details and an agenda for the meeting is posted on the City of Omaha website at www.cityofomaha.org.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICES
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will hold public hearings on May 16, 2023, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183, for the purpose of hearing testimony for:
An ordinance authorizing the issuance of a purchase order to Garret’s Lawn Service for a price agreement for OPW 53687, being the CSO Green Infrastructure Maintenance Project, N 26th Street & Taylor Street Green Infrastructure Maintenance to be utilized by the Environmental Quality Control Division, to be effective for an initial one (1) year term, and is renewable for four (4) separate one-year terms; to provide for payments from appropriations of more than one year in accordance with Section 5.17 of the Home Rule Charter of 1956, as amended; to provide for payments from a specific account.

An ordinance approving a Third Amendment to the Redevelopment and Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Redevelopment Agreement between the City of Omaha and Elkhorn Landing, LLC, to implement the Elkhorn Landing Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Redevelopment Project Plan for a redevelopment project site located at 20603 and 20605 Elkhorn Drive, to revise the number of parking stalls from the previously approved 25 to 16 to be installed within the Elkhorn Drive right-of-way, all other terms and conditions contained in the Redevelopment Agreement not amended hereby, shall remain in full force and effect.
An ordinance to approve the acceptance of and authorize disbursement over more than one fiscal year from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Office of Public Housing Investments Public and Indian Housing, FY 2022 Choice Neighborhoods Supplemental Grant, Award #NE7D531CNG122, in the amount of $5,000,000.00, and a minimum match in the amount of $1,250,000.00, during the project period extending from one day after HUD’s signature on the HUD-1044 form to September 30, 2026; to provide funding for the construction of replacement housing in mixed-income developments as detailed in the original North 30th Street Choice Neighborhoods Implementation Grant; to authorize payment from such grant funding and involving appropriations of more than one year in conformity with Section 5.17 of the Home Rule Charter.
An ordinance to amend Omaha Municipal Code 36-156, 36-175, 36-193, 36-215, 36-220, 36-221, 36-232, and 36-281; to repeal Sections 36-156, 36-175, 36-193, 36-215, 36-216, 36-220, 36-221, 36-232, 36-281, and 36-288 as heretofore existing.
