NOTICE TO PUBLIC
The City Council of the City of Omaha will have a Pre-Council Meeting at 10:30 A.M. in the Jesse Lowe Conference Room, Omaha/Douglas Civic Center, 1819 Farnam Street, for the purpose of discussing the agenda items and briefing and discussion of public business; and a regular Council Meeting at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, in the Legislative Chambers of the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center in Omaha, Nebraska. This meeting will have video conference capability. Proposed agenda kept continually current shall be available for public inspection in the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center at the Office of the City Clerk, but the Council shall have the right to modify the agenda to include items of an emergency nature only at such public meeting when convened. The video conference details and an agenda for the meeting is posted on the City of Omaha website at www.cityofomaha.org.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICES
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will hold public hearings on February 27, 2024, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183, for the purpose of hearing testimony for:
An ordinance authorizing the issuance of purchase orders to Kemira Water Solutions, Inc. in the amount of $1,105,000.00, for the purchase of Ferric Chloride to be utilized at the Water Resource Recovery Facilities, to be effective for an initial twelve (12) month period and is extendable for three (3) one-year periods at the City’s own option; to provide for payments from appropriations of more than one year in accordance with Section 5.17 of the Home Rule Charter of 1956, as amended; to provide for payments from a specific account.
An ordinance to approve a Major Amendment to a Mixed Use District Development Agreement for Avenue One, for the property located south of 192nd Street and West Dodge Road, to amend the site development standards and to specify the conditions that development proposals must meet in order to make potential future Minor Amendments to the development plan, within the Subject Area of the Mixed Use district.
An ordinance to approve a Major Amendment to a Mixed Use District Development Agreement for South Streams, for the property located southeast of 204th and Q Streets, to allow the increase of the height limit for a monument sign on outlots from 6 feet to 11.75 feet.
An ordinance to amend Sections 55-68, 55-573, 55-737, 55-763, 55-765, 55-784, 55-786, and 55-934, of the Omaha Municipal Code regarding Accessory dwelling units (ADUs), fence regulations in the street side yard, garage regulations in cluster subdivisions, compact car parking, automotive washing stacking, and retaining wall regulations.
An ordinance approving an Agreement between the City of Omaha and Seventy Five North Revitalization Corp., to construct affordable housing within a project site generally located between Burdette Street and Parker Street and North 29th Street to North 28th Street; the agreement requires that at least 51% of the housing units constructed on the project site are sold or rented to qualified households at or below 80% of the Median Family Income and in accordance with Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program requirements.
An ordinance to establish, pursuant to Section 40-251 of the Omaha Municipal Code, a Class “B” Flammable Liquids Storage District to be known as District No. B-218 at 4501 Abbott Drive, as requested by Daniel B. Owens (Omaha Airport Authority).
