PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
AMENDMENT TO THE
5902 N 9TH STREET INDUSTRIAL
REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT PLAN
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will meet and hold a public hearing on March 7, 2023, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183 for the purpose of hearing testimony for:
Amendment to the 5902 N 9th Street Industrial Redevelopment Project Plan.
Applicant: Greenslate 5902, LLC
Location: 5902 N 9th Street
The amendment approves increasing the building size to 202,404 square feet, and the City’s participation in the redevelopment of this project site through the allocation of Tax Increment Financing (TIF) in an amount increased from $3,200,000.00 to an amount up to $3,838,392.00, which includes capitalized interest, for the larger project. TIF loan proceeds will be used to offset eligible expenses such as acquisition, site work, engineering foundations, architectural and engineering costs, and other public improvements as required. The total estimated project costs for the amended project are increased from $21,750,287.00 to $23,748,088.00, but are subject to change as final costs come in.
The Planning Board recommended approval of this Redevelopment Project Plan at the January 4, 2023 public hearing.
A copy of said plan is available for public inspection in the City Clerk’s Office.

UPTOWN DISTRICT
REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT PLAN
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will meet and hold a public hearing on March 7, 2023, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183 for the purpose of hearing testimony for:
Second Amendment to the Uptown District Redevelopment Project Plan.
Applicant: City of Omaha Planning Department
Location: Park Avenue on the east,
Dewey Avenue and Turner Boulevard
on the north, 33rd Street on the
west and south to Woolworth Avenue
The amendment makes the following changes to the redevelopment plan:
Removes the Phase III redevelopment sites located at 522 South 30th Street, 522 South Park Avenue, and 909-918 South 31st Court;
Removes the Phase IV redevelopment sites located at 825 Park Avenue, 1113 South 31st Street, and 1313 South 31st Street;
Reduces the Uptown District TIF loan allocation from $5,084,978.00 to $3,099,288.00.

PUBLIC NOTICE
The Regional Metropolitan Transit Authority of Omaha d/b/a Metro hereby publishes an amendment to its CY 2023 Program of Projects (POP). The total federal share of Section 5307 funds available to the Omaha NE-IA urbanized area is 32,492,655 of which 13,285,697 will be requested for the following projects: Support Equipment/Facilities (5,215,000), Unified Planning Work Program (998,521), Transit Enhancements (1,265,000), Capitalized Operational Expenses (2,128,600), and Preventative Maintenance (7,000,000). The total 5307 POP is 16,607,121 of which 13,285,697 is the federal share and 3,321,424 is Metro’s local share. The total federal share of Section 5339 funds available to the Omaha NE-IA urbanized area is 15,793,800 of which 13,878,199 will be requested for the following projects: Buses and Bus Facilities (17,047,600) and Support Equipment & Facilities (400,000). The total 5339 POP is 17,447,600 of which 13,878,199 is the federal share and 3,569,401 is Metro’s local share.
