“NOTICE OF PETITION”
To the owners of all lots, lands, tracts, and parcels of land within proposed Street Improvement District No. 2019-06, and to all owners of property abutting on and adjacent to Walnut Street, from South 76th Avenue to South 78th Street:
Notice is hereby given that there has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Omaha a petition for the improvement of Walnut Street, from South 76th Avenue to South 78th Street by grading, curbing, and paving in Portland cement concrete.
We, the undersigned, owners of lots or lands abutting upon that part of Walnut Street, from South 76th Avenue to South 78th Street in proposed Street Improvement District No. 2019-06 in the City of Omaha, being record owners of a majority of the feet frontage on said part of said street, as shown by the generally recognized maps of said city, do hereby petition that the same be improved by grading, curbing, and paving in Portland cement concrete.
And we do further petition the City Council to order such improvement and cause it to be made. Within thirty days of first publication of this notice, the owners of property abutting the proposed improvement may:
1. By petition of a majority of said taxable front footage abutting the improvement, protest against the construction of such project pursuant to Neb. Rev. Stat. § 14-3,127; and,
2. By petition file a protest in the Office of the City Clerk against the regularity, legality, or sufficiency of the petition or signatures hereon, pursuant to Omaha Municipal Code § 26-61.

Support Services
The Omaha Housing Authority (OHA) seeks a Human Resources Support firm to provide recruitment and hiring, training and development of staff, help in drafting policies and procedures, record keeping and reporting, consulting and other duties as assigned.
RFP packets will be available on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at 10:00 A.M.
Request packets via email at contracts@ohauthority.org.
There will be a Pre-Proposal meeting held on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at 2:00 P.M.
Deadline for Proposal submission is Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at 2:00 P.M.
All activities will take place at OHA’s Central Office at 1823 Harney Street, Omaha, NE 68102.
