PUBLIC HEARING NOTICES
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will hold public hearings on January 28, 2020, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183, for the purpose of hearing testimony for:
Res. that, the Revised Preliminary Plat entitled Millwork Commons, a subdivision inside the city limits, located northeast of 14th and Nicholas Streets, along with the conditions, is hereby accepted; and, the preparation of the final plat of this subdivision is hereby authorized. The applicant is Paul Smith
An ordinance to rezone property located west of 16th and Burt Streets from DS-Downtown Services to CBD-Central Business District (property is located within an ACI Overlay District)
Res. that, the Final Plat transmitted herewith entitled Builders District 2, a minor plat inside city limits, located west of 16th and Burt Streets, is hereby approved, and concurrently a portion of the existing plat entitled City Lots, and described on said replat, is hereby vacated. The applicant is Kiewit Infrastructure Co
Res. that, the Subdivision Agreement among the City of Omaha, Builders District I LLC, and Builders District III LLC, as recommended by the Mayor, is hereby approved. The Subdivision is to be known as Builders District 2 (Lots 1-2) and is located west of 16th and Burt Streets
Res. that, the Special Use Permit application submitted by Orchard Valley Inc. c/o Melvin Sudbeck, for a Special Use Permit to allow development in the ED-North Hills Environmental Overlay District located southeast of 66th and Garvin Streets, Omaha, Nebraska, is hereby approved and the Permits and Inspection Division is directed to issue the necessary permit therefor, provided the conditions set out in Exhibit “A” of the referenced application, conditions set out in Exhibit “B”, and all applicable local or state statutes, ordinances or regulations are complied with. The proposed Special Use Permit has been reviewed and evaluated pursuant to, and meets each of, the criteria set forth in Section 55-885 of the Omaha Municipal Code
Res. that, the Final Plat entitled Aloy’s Acres, a subdivision outside the city limits, with a waiver to Section 53-9(9), Sidewalks, and Section 53-9(11), Streetscape standards, located southeast of 66th and Garvin Streets, is hereby approved and accepted. The applicant is Orchard Valley, Inc
Res. that, the Subdivision Agreement among the City of Omaha, Orchard Valley, Inc. and The Aloy’s Acres Homeowners Association, as recommended by the Mayor, providing for the public improvements, is hereby approved. The Subdivision is to be known as Aloy’s Acres (Lots 1-14 and Outlot A) and is located southeast of 66th and Garvin Streets
An ordinance to rezone property located at 5017 South 134th Street from R2-Single-Family Residential District (Low Density) to R5-Urban Family Residential District
An ordinance to rezone property located at 3602, 3604 and 3605 Erskine Street from R5(35)-Urban Family Residential District to R5-Urban Family Residential District
An ordinance to rezone property located at 3916 Miami Street from R4(35)-Single-Family Residential District (High Density) to R4-Single-Family Residential District (High Density)
An ordinance to amend the boundaries of the MCC-Major Commercial Corridor Overlay District, to incorporate into that district the property located at 3404 South 119th Street
An ordinance to amend the boundaries of the MCC-Major Commercial Corridor Overlay District, to incorporate into that district the property located at 7340 and 7348 Blondo Street
