PUBLIC HEARING NOTICES
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will hold public hearings on January 12, 2021, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183, for the purpose of hearing testimony for:
Res. that, the Preliminary Plat entitled 77th and Dodge, a minor plat inside city limits, located south of 77th and Dodge Streets, along with the conditions, is hereby accepted; and, the preparation of the final plat of this subdivision is hereby authorized.
An ordinance to rezone property located at 1026 North 33rd Street from R4-Single-Family Residential District (High-Density) to R5-Urban Family Residential District.
An ordinance to rezone property located at 4240 South 50th Street from CC-Community Commercial District to GC-General Commercial District.
Res. that, the Special Use Permit application submitted by Mitchol Pappen for a Special Use Permit to allow General retail sales in the GI-General Industrial District located at 5719 North 16th Street, Omaha, Nebraska, is hereby approved and the Permits and Inspection Division is directed to issue the necessary permit therefor, provided the conditions set out in Exhibit “A” of the referenced application, conditions set out in Exhibit “B”, and all applicable local or state statutes, ordinances or regulations are complied with.

The City of Omaha, acting as Agent for the owner, invites bids for the LEAD HAZARD CONTROL OF DWELLING UNIT at:
1116 N 35 St.
Closing Time: 3:00 P.M.,
WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 6, 2021.
Sealed bids are invited and will be received on or before the closing time, as per specifications on file in the office of Rehab Division of the Planning Department, Room 1111, Omaha/Douglas Civic Center.
Sealed bids to be addressed to Rehabilitation Division, Room 1111, Omaha/Douglas Civic Center marked “Bid on LEAD HAZARD CONTROL OF DWELLING UNIT,” with the address and job number identified, must be on file in this office on or before 3:00 P.M. on the closing date, at which time the bids will be opened and read by the Rehab Division before bidders and the public in Room 1111, Omaha/Douglas Civic Center.
Attention is called to the fact that not less than minimum salaries and wages as specified by the U.S. Secretary of Labor as set forth in the specification may be paid on the rehabilitation work. The contractor must, furthermore, ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color or creed, sex or national origin.
The bidder must file a certificate of insurance with the Rehab Division evidencing comprehensive public liability insurance coverage protecting the property owner for not less than $1,000,000 per occurrence, $2,000,000 aggregate arising out of the work performed by the contractor. Evidence of workman’s compensation insurance must be shown prior to receipt of the order to proceed with the work.
The owner reserves the right to accept, reject, or negotiate any or all bids in whole or in part.
