Third Amendment To The
Uptown District
Redevelopment Project Plan
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will meet and hold a public hearing on December 17, 2024, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183 for the purpose of hearing testimony for:
Third Amendment to the Uptown District Redevelopment Project Plan.

Park Avenue on the east, Dewey Avenue and Turner Boulevard on the north, 33rd Street on the west and south to Woolworth Avenue
The original plan proposed the construction of 95 mostly three-story row houses in four phases, spread over 11 separate non-contiguous project sites which later became 12 sites.
This amendment makes the following changes to the redevelopment plan:
· Removes Site 7 of Phase II redevelopment site, located southwest of 33rd and Mason Streets
· Reduces the Uptown District TIF loan allocation from $3,099,288.00 to $2,248,788.00
A copy of said plan is available for public inspection in the City Clerk’s Office.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will meet and hold a public hearing on December 17, 2024, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183 for the purpose of hearing testimony for:
Greenlake Midtown Apartments Redevelopment Project Plan.

The redevelopment project plan proposes a new three story apartment building with 15 market rate units to be constructed on the site.
The Planning Board recommended approval of this Redevelopment Project Plan at the October 2, 2024 public hearing.
The Redevelopment Project Plan authorizes the City’s participation in the redevelopment of this project site through the allocation of Tax Increment Financing (TIF) in an amount up to $418,139.00, which includes capitalized interest. TIF loan proceeds will be used to offset eligible expenses such as acquisition, grading, erosion control, architectural and engineering costs, various studies and other public improvements as required. The total estimated project costs are $2,894,186.00, but are subject to change as final costs come in.
A copy of said plan is available for public inspection in the City Clerk’s Office.
