An ordinance (1) to approve an agreement between the City of Omaha and Region 6 Behavioral Healthcare in the amount of $15,000.00; and (2) to authorize funding for such agreement from the City of Omaha’s FY 2018 Justice and Mental Health Collaboration Program (JMHCP) Grant, Award #2018-MO-BX-0004, awarded by the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs, Bureau of Justice Assistance; to provide funding for quarterly data gathering from Heartland Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) partner agencies as part of the CIT Project; to authorize payment from such grant funding and involving appropriations of more than one year in conformity with Section 5.17 of the Home Rule Charter
An ordinance to approve the acceptance of and authorize the disbursement from the FY 2019 State Homeland Security Grant (SHSG) Award #EMW-2019-SS-00090-S01, and budget in the amount of $641,908.00 from the Nebraska Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), during the award period of September 1, 2019 through August 31, 2022, to provide first responder and emergency management agencies in Douglas, Sarpy, and Washington Counties with enhanced capabilities to prevent, protect against, mitigate, respond to, and recover from manmade threats and natural disasters; to authorize payment from such grant funding and involving appropriations of more than one year in conformity with Section 5.17 of the Home Rule Charter

The City Council of the City of Omaha will have a Pre-Council Meeting at 10:30 A.M. in the Conference Room, LC-1, Omaha/Douglas Civic Center, 1819 Farnam Street, for the purpose of discussing the agenda items and briefing and discussion of public business; and a regular Council Meeting at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 19, 2019, in the Legislative Chambers of the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Proposed agenda kept continually current shall be available for public inspection in the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center at the Office of the City Clerk, but the Council shall have the right to modify the agenda to include items of an emergency nature only at such public meeting when convened.
