I. Call Meeting to Order- President Allyson Slobotski called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m., noting the Open Meetings Act was posted on the south wall of the Board Room.
II. Public Forum- One member of the public was present to speak.
III. Consent Agenda (Note: Items on the consent agenda are considered routine and will be enacted under one motion. There will be no separate discussion of these items at the meeting unless a Board Member requests an item removed from the agenda for separate action.)

V.D. Spotlight Report- Personnel and Curriculum Proposal Process- Dr. Dee Hoge presented information regarding the process of the proposal process.

VII.A. Discuss and Consider First Reading to Add/Revise Policies for Section 300
There was one proposed policy revision: Revise: 301.02 - Succession of Authority to Superintendent. The remainder of the 300 section was determined appropriate by the committee.
VII.B. Discuss and Consider First Reading to Revise Policies- The following policies have been recommended by NASB or suggested by the administration. 612.01 – Free Appropriate Public Education, 612.02 – Full Education Opportunity Goal, 612.03 – Child Find, 612.04 – Evaluation Procedures, 612.05 – Individualized Education Program, 612.07 – Participation in Assessments, 612.08 – Least Restrictive Environment, 612.10 – Procedural Safeguards, 612.13 – Confidentiality of Personally Identifiable Information, 612.14 – Suspension and Expulsion Rates, 612.15 – Access to Instructional Materials, 612.16 – Over Identification and Disproportion, 612.17 – Prohibition on Mandatory Medication, 505.03 – Suspension and Expulsion, and 706.01 – Purchase Procedures
VII.C. Discuss and Consider First Reading to Add Policies- The following policies have been recommended by NASB and the Policy Committee. 612.18 – Appointment of Surrogates, 612.19 – Consent for Early Intervention Services, and 612.20 Disciplinary Removal of Children with Disabilities.

Communication Director Stacy Hawn provided an overview of the planned topics for inclusion in the upcoming annual report.

The meeting entered into closed session at 7:25, p.m., and was called back into session at 8:36 p.m.
