Baird Holm LLP and Burlington Capital Group are pleased to present Bracketfest 2020 on Tuesday, March 17, 2020, from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m., at the Omaha Marriott-Capitol District. Guests will enjoy breakfast with a panel of basketball experts who’ll predict the teams that will and won’t make it through this year’s bracket.

Proceeds from this event will support the Omaha Sports Commission’s work to make Omaha one of the premier sports communities in the United States by recruiting and promoting outstanding amateur sporting events. 

The event will be moderated by Jim Rose with panelists Tim Miles, Derrin Hansen and John Higgings.

As a longtime broadcaster, commentator, educator and marketer, Rose is best known on the Husker Radio and TV Networks, as the play by play voice of Husker Football and baseball, and on KFAB Radio for his daily commentary.

Serving as Nebraska men’s head basketball coach from 2012-2019, Miles is a veteran of three NCAA National Tournaments. He is currently an analyst for Big Ten Network, Fox Sports and Fox Sports 1.

The 21st head coach of the University  of Nebraska at Omaha’s basketball program, Hansen ranks second all-time in school history with 206 career victories. In his tenure with the Mavericks, he guided the team to two NCAA Division II tournaments before UNO announced it reclassification to Division I in 2011.

As one of the most recognized referees in college basketball today, Higgings is a former University of Nebraska at Kearney star, and he has worked 25 NCAA tournaments, nine Final Fours and three national championship games.
