U.S. Rep. Don Bacon and Nebraska Gov. Pete Ricketts will offer the public an opportunity to ask questions and learn about the latest efforts related to COVID-19.

Bacon’s town hall will be conducted by telephone from 4:10 to 5:30 p.m. Thursday. Its focus will be on economic relief for families, workers and small businesses.

Bacon will be joined by Leon Milobar, state director of the U.S. Small Business Administration; Ron Eidshaug, vice president of congressional and public affairs for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce; John H. Albin, commissioner of labor for the State of Nebraska; Jim Sousley, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants; and Hannah Young, policy manager for the Nonprofit Association of the Midlands.

Bacon held an earlier town hall about public health guidance on March 19.

To join Bacon’s telephone town hall, dial 855-920-0558 or follow an audio livestream.

Ricketts’ town hall will be conducted on television from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. Thursday. Its focus will be on answering questions from viewers and listeners.

Ricketts will be joined by Dr. Ali Khan, dean of the College of Public Health at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, and John Albin, commissioner of labor for the State of Nebraska.

Ricketts held an earlier town hall with NET last Tuesday.

To join Ricketts’ televised town hall, dial 1-800-676-5446 or 402-472-1212. Questions can also be emailed to news@netNebraska.org or submitted via Facebook. Use the hashtag #COVID19Nebraska to ask questions via Twitter or Instragram.

A feed from the town hall will be available on NET TV, Nebraska’s PBS and NPR stations and streamed on NET’s website, the NET Nebraska app and on Facebook.
