It’s Still Dick Cavett: Recovered From Stroke, Nebraska Talk Show Legend Now Youtube Sensation, Music Video Star

Former national talk show host Dick Cavett invited social revolution into viewers’ homes courtesy of the 1960s icons he interviewed. And this Nebraskan who gave counterculture a mainstream platform stayed busy in the decades after his show ended – writing, performing and lending his stature as a television fixture in a formative era.

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Joe Biden has blocked the nearly $15 billion proposed deal for Nippon Steel of Japan to purchase Pittsburgh-based U.S. Steel — affirming his earlier vow on the presidential campaign trail to prevent the acquisition of Steeltown USA’s most storied steel company.

For 21-year-old Rebeca Damico, ChatGPT’s public release in 2022 during her sophomore year of college at the University of Utah felt like navigating a minefield.

The public relations student, now readying to graduate in the spring, said her professors immediately added policies to their syllabuses banning use of the chatbot, calling the generative artificial intelligence tool a form of plagiarism.
