LINCOLN — Nebraska college graduates who grew up in the state are about twice as likely to stay and work here compared to their out-of-state peers, according to new research on what keeps talent in Cornhusker territory.
Key findings also show that having social and economic ties to the state, as well as previous work experience in Nebraska, go hand in hand with higher retention rates.

When a company makes a mistake – such as a marketing misstep or a product failure that leads to a recall – a good apology can make a big difference in how we as customers feel about them.
Things can go wrong for all kinds of reasons. On top of addressing the immediate fallout of something going wrong, a company must be prepared to explain what happened – and in many cases, apologise.

OMAHA — For the 12th consecutive month, a Creighton University-led survey of regional bankers reported a below growth neutral reading for the economy on “rural mainstreet.”
Creighton University since 2006 has released its monthly Rural Mainstreet Index, which is based on a survey of bank chief executives in 10 states including Nebraska, targeting about 200 rural communities with an average population of 1,300.
