Newly Registered Pennsylvania Voter Motivated By Economic Circumstances

OAKMONT, Pennsylvania -- Four years ago, Douglas Hohman turned old enough to vote. He had turned 18 years old in May, yet, for a number of reasons, he never got around to voting for either President Joe Biden or former President Donald Trump.

The year 2020, Hohman explained, was not the best for him.

I have been waiting years for soup dumplings to come to Omaha.

Twelve years, to be exact. 

I’ve been waiting since we returned home from a memorable trip to China, where we ate hand pulled noodles, stinky tofu, egg and tomato, Sichuan peppercorns and, most memorably, xiaolongbao, also known as soup dumplings.

Study Ranks Nebraska No. 1 In Financial Literacy

LINCOLN — A new study by Credit Secrets ranks Nebraska as the most financially literate state in the country.

The No. 1 spot in the analysis by the online site that offers resources to boost credit scores was pleasing, though not necessarily shocking, to Richard Baier, president and CEO of the Nebraska Bankers Association.

SEATTLE (AP) — Aircraft assembly workers walked off the job early Friday at Boeing factories near Seattle and elsewhere after union members voted overwhelmingly to go on strike and reject a tentative contract that would have increased wages by 25% over four years.
