Moberly Named UNL’s Interim Vice Chancellor

The leadership of the University of Nebraska College of Law is adjusting to the appointment of its dean to fill-in after a top university official left for a new job.

Richard Moberly, dean of the Nebraska College of Law, assumed the role of interim executive vice chancellor of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln on Saturday. He replaces Donde Plowman, who left Nebraska to become the chancellor of the University of Tennessee.

Law Students Thanked for Community Legal Service

Students at the Creighton University School of Law and the University of Nebraska College of Law who provided free legal work for low-income individuals were recognized for their service during recent graduation ceremonies.

Each student received a certificate of appreciation from the Nebraska Supreme Court Access to Justice Commission and Nebraska State Bar Association acknowledging their commitment to improving access to justice through contributions to law-related pro bono service as a student.
