NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS
Notice is hereby given that the OMAHA CITY CLERK will receive sealed bids until WEDNESDAY, MARCH 2, 2022 AT 11:00 A.M. FOR DOUGLAS CO. PROJECT NO. C-28(494) STATE STREET IMPROVEMENTS, POTTER STREET TO STATE STREET (GRADING, ASPHALT PAVING, AND EROSION CONTROL).
Bids are to be submitted on the proposal forms and in accordance with plans and specifications available at www.questcdn.com. You may download the digital plan documents for $15.00 by inputting QuestCDN Project #8122124 on the website’s Project search page. Please contact QuestCDN.com at (952) 233-1632 or info@questcdn.com for assistance in free membership registration, downloading, and working with this digital project information. Alternatively, paper copies of the plans and specifications are available at the office of the Douglas County Engineer, 15505 West Maple Road, Omaha, Nebraska. The cost of the paper plans and specifications is $40.00 plus $2.80 tax, and is non-refundable. Checks for the paper plans and specifications should be made payable to the Douglas County Engineer.
As evidence of good faith in submitting a proposal for this work, the bidder must file with his proposal, cash, certified check or bid bond, made payable to Douglas County in the sum of 5% of his bid, all of which shall be placed in a sealed envelope so marked as to indicate its contents without being opened. This envelope is to be placed in another envelope, which shall be sealed and addressed to the County Clerk.
The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Surety Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the contract.
The Board of Douglas County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
Bids will publicly be opened and read aloud in the City/County Legislative Chambers of the Omaha Douglas Civic Center on WEDNESDAY, MARCH 2, 2022 at 11:00 a.m.

The City of Omaha Public Works Department is seeking proposals from qualified candidates to design and implement the following systems and services for the Parking & Mobility Division: Fixed LPR, Wayfinding Signage or MaaS Application, Pay-by-plate Equipment and Gated Parking Access and Revenue Control System.

NOTICE INVITING BIDS
Sealed bids for the renovation/construction of the City of Omaha TRANQUILITY SOCCER FIELD LIGHTING RE-WIRE, Tranquility Park, 12222 West Maple Road, Omaha, NE are invited and will be received on or before the bid opening date, as per the project’s specifications.
Sealed bids to be addressed to Elizabeth Butler, City Clerk, LC-1, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha/Douglas Civic Center, Omaha, Nebraska 68183, marked BID ON: “City of Omaha TRANQUILITY SOCCER FIELD LIGHTING RE-WIRE”, must be in her office on or before 11:00 A.M. on: Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at which time the bids will be opened and read by the City Clerk before the Bid Opening Committee and the public in LC-4, Omaha/Douglas Civic Center.
Plans and Specifications may be examined and obtained at the offices of the following printers: A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc., 4320 South 89th Street, Omaha, NE 68127 (402-592-4950), and Standard Digital Imaging, 4426 South 108th Street, Omaha, NE 68137 (800-642-8062) on or after Wednesday, February 23, 2022. Bidders may view the contract documents (plans & specifications, etc.) on the project free of charge from their websites. Electronic or hard copy prints of all contract documents may be obtained from any one of them by contacting them directly and placing an order. All costs for contract document production will be directly billed by the printer to the requesting company and not to the issuer of this bidding opportunity. Potential bidders may receive special pricing for the printing of hard copies of the contract documents. Contact the printer for the cost associated with your request.

There will be a non-mandatory, pre-bid meeting on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at 2:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at 12222 West Maple Road. Meet in the soccer complex parking lot. Meeting will be held rain or shine.
This project has an SEB reserve for ESB and SB Tier 1 & 2 categories for 100% of the total bid amount. For additional information see Specification Section 00 20 00, ‘Instructions to Bidders”, Part 2.16, “Utilization of Small and Emerging Small Business”.
This project does not require the bidder to submit an Economic Equity and Inclusion Program (EEIP) Plan or an approved EEIP Certificate with their bid.
As evidence of good faith and guarantee that contract will be entered into should award be made thereon, a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 5% of the bid must accompany bid. The bid bond or certified check shall be made payable to the “City of Omaha”. Failure to do so will be cause for rejection. City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in whole or in part, and the bidders shall have the right to appeal any decision to the City Council.
